Artifact- Lab 3 Motor Development
Date- Fall 2011

For my lab 3 at St. Mary’s. I assessed a girl and boy’s ability to leap, slide and jump horizontally that was both the same age and grade. After observing them in various activities, it was clear that the boy was closer to reaching the mature stage of these acts than the girl. This could probably be because the boy is exposed to more challenging task when playing at home or outside, yet it is still possible that the girl could surpass the boy in these skills with the proper guidance.
